ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This statement was last updated on 29th July 2025.

Accessibility is at the heart of the Hodr Engine. As a technology company focused on digital accessibility, Immersion Sound Studio Ltd are committed to ensuring Hodr Engine and its resources are usable by everyone, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.

What Web Accessibility Is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Our Commitment

We design and build iteratively, but every update is governed by a strict post-deployment testing protocol to align with WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549 standards. This makes sure our product remains compliant with:

  • European Accessibility Act (EAA)

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

  • UK Equality Act 2010

  • Accessible Canada Act

  • Australian DDA

  • And other national accessibility laws where applicable.

Hodr Engine continuously audits our digital properties using demo testers, with various disabilities and technical backgrounds, to identify bugs and inaccessible features to be corrected as soon as our small but dedicated team is made aware.

Current Conformance Status

As of the date of this statement, Hodr Engine conforms, to the best of our knowledge, to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have validated this through manual reviews and user testing.

Known Limitations

As a rapidly evolving game engine, website and service, occasional regressions may occur following new releases, this is expected for software updates. These are typically short-lived and resolved as part of our ongoing compliance cycle. We continuously monitor and test our software to guarantee we return to complete conformance without delay.

If you encounter an accessibility issue, contact us directly. We treat all reports as high priority and aim to respond within 5 working days.

Feedback & Contact

If you require support accessing any part of our software or wish to report an issue:

Email: fshaw@hodrengine.com

Formal Complaints

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate to the relevant national regulator (e.g. Equality and Human Rights Commission in the UK, or the ADA Coordinator in the US).

This statement reflects our values, our legal obligations, and our commitment to lead by example. We can best create accessible software if the tools used to build it are designed with accessibility at its core.
